Both Nikka and Suntory have been producing brandy for some time, the latter as early as 1935. Shinjiro Torii, the founder of Suntory, had the vision to develop a western liquor culture in Japan, which led him to create a brandy that reflects Japanese craftsmanship. Its current incarnation promises a wood-aged spirit of depth, complexity and richness and comes beautifully presented in a ribbed decanter-style bottle.
