Hennessy XXO was first created in 1870 alongside Hennessy XO, when the master blender Emile Fillioux set aside eaux-de-vie with great potential. Hennessy XXO was such a significant find that it has been launched around the world since 1871. Drawing on the savoir-faire inherited by his family and a five-decade career at Maison Hennessy, Yann Fillioux, 7th generation of master blender, decided to re-create Hennessy XXO in 2017.
